Surge testing in two London boroughs has been deployed after extra instances of the extremely infectious South African variant have been discovered.
The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) mentioned that West Ealing, Acton, Greenford and Southall are affected.

Since the second wave began Redbridge has been one of many worst affected boroughs in London, and the surge testing will happen in the IG1 postcode space.

On Wednesday, components of Brixton and two postcodes in Lambeth had instances recognized which prompted surge testing.
