Police arrest man after spate of assaults on buses in Barnet

Police probing a sequence of assaults on buses have made an arrest.

Officers from the Met’s Roads and Transport Policing Command appealed for assist to hint an individual they wished to talk to about three incidents throughout Barnet.

The primary incident occurred on a Route 83 bus on November 11, with a second on the identical day at a grocery store in Coppetts Centre, off the A406 close to Friern Barnet.

A 3rd incident occurred on board a 221 bus in Edgware the next day.

On Tuesday February 23, police say a 30-year-old man from Barnet was arrested on suspicion of 4 assaults, together with one which had come to gentle following the general public attraction.

He was taken to a north London police station and later launched beneath investigation.
