Clarion awards £20m contract for east London scheme | News

Clarion has awarded a £20m contract to construct an house scheme in Newham London to reasonably priced housing contractor Higgins.

Higgins stated it had begun the development of 74 houses for the housing affiliation in two towers of 5 and 7 storeys in Woodgrange Street, Forest Gate, east London.

The decrease ranges of the constructing, designed by marketing consultant Calford Seaden, are to be clad in brick to slot in with the encircling conservation space, whereas the higher flooring will probably be clad in pre-patinated copper.

Steve Leakey, managing director of Higgins Partnerships stated the agency was “dedicated to offering coaching and employment alternatives for the area people” and will probably be creating seven apprenticeships together with neighborhood funding.
