Charles visits Duke of Edinburgh in hospital

The Prince of Wales has visited his father the Duke of Edinburgh in hospital.

Philip, 99, was admitted to King Edward VII’s hospital in London on Tuesday night as a precautionary measure after feeling unwell and walked unaided into the medical centre.

Charles arrived on the hospital at round 3.20pm on Saturday in a gray Tesla automotive, and exited the automobile sporting a face masks, earlier than leaving round half-hour later.

It’s understood the prince travelled from his dwelling in Highgrove, Gloucestershire, to the hospital in central London, a journey of round 100 miles.

He’s the primary member of the royal household to go to Philip throughout the duke’s four-night keep in hospital.

The duke, who turns 100 on June 10, is in hospital for an undisclosed purpose, though it isn’t coronavirus-related.

On Friday, sources informed PA information company: “Following session together with his physician the Duke of Edinburgh is prone to stay in hospital for commentary and relaxation over the weekend and into subsequent week.

“As we’ve got mentioned beforehand the physician is appearing with an abundance of warning. The duke stays in good spirits.”

Earlier within the afternoon, 10-year-old Twanna Saleh, from Camden, north London, wished the duke a “fast restoration” outdoors the hospital with a home-made signal.

Twanna mentioned: “After I was little I used to have chemotherapy for 5 years and I felt unhappy for Philip so I wrote this letter so he can really feel higher.

“My sister helped me to attract the guts and the flower.”
