Millwall manager Gary Rowett is waiting on scan results to determine the full extent of Kenneth Zohore’s injury.
The on-loan West Brom striker picked up the knock in Saturday’s 2-1 victory at Reading.
Rowett said: “He was in Sunday morning and the muscle is a little bit swollen. I’m not quite sure if it was a kick or some damage. They [the medical team] weren’t horrendously concerned. He walked off and doesn’t seem to be in massive discomfort. Hopefully it’s nothing too serious.
“But I spoke to Lenny [Ryan Leonard] after he did his injury and he said: ‘I’ll be fine for the weekend’. The next thing he is out for nine weeks! So it is difficult to know until the scan.
“The early prognosis is that it didn’t look too bad.”
