Jamie Carragher has already issued his Ezri Konsa verdict amid Tottenham transfer links

Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has given his seal of approval for Tottenham to land Ezri Konsa, following previous comments made by the Sky Sports pundit.

The Aston Villa man has caught the eye in the Premier League since joining the club in 2019 from Brentford, forming a formidable partnership alongside Tyrone Mings.

Konsa is now pushing to follow his defensive partner and Villa captain Jack Grealish into Gareth Southgate’s England squad.

His performances have not gone unnoticed by Premier League sides, with the Athletic reporting that Tottenham and Liverpool are targeting a move.
