ITV’s hit thriller ‘Unforgotten’ is returning next week and fans can hardly wait for the story to continue.
The critically acclaimed show features British acting royalty Nicola Walker, Peter Egan, Jordan Long, Lewis Reeves, Pippa Nixon and Carolina Main.
And it’s set to return next Monday, February 22, on ITV.
Another of the show’s leads – Sanjeev Bhaskar – has appeared in a whole host of iconic TV and film roles, and you may recognise him from his appearances in ‘Notting Hill’ and ‘It’s a Wonderful Afterlife’.
Hailing from Ealing, West London, Sanjeev has also appeared in ‘Paddington 2’, ‘Doctor Who’, and of course ‘The Kumars at No 42’, in which he played the lead role.
But despite his extensive acting CV, fans still often mistake Sanjeev for an EastEnders character – even though his Wikipedia page lists him as appearing in the soap.
Chatting with Piers Morgan in 2017, Sanjeev revealed the most annoying thing fans ask him to do is yell catchphrases, which would often be the wrong ones.
Others would gesture at him and say “EastEnders!”

Sanjeev said: “I’d have to go – that’s not me, it’s the other bloke.”
The actor also revealed acting legend Roger Moore is a fan, and the former James Bond actor sent him a “lovely email” to congratulate him on the first series of Unforgotten.
“I used to have a poster of him up on my wall,” he said. “Now I’ve got this email from him which is great.”
Unforgotten series 4 begins at 9pm on Monday, February 22 on ITV.
