Eighteen-year-old victim named after Parsons Green fatal stabbing – South London News

The victim of a fatal stabbing in Parsons Green has been named as 18-year-old Hani Soloman.

Police were called after a fight broke out between a group of men on Ackmar Road, Fulham, last Thursday.

Officers and paramedics attended the scene around 6.45pm but Mr Soloman, from Wandsworth, was pronounced dead at the scene less than an hour later.

A post-mortem examination carried out at Fulham Mortuary on Saturday confirmed the teenager died from a knife injury to the chest.

Although formal identification is yet to take place, detectives are confident the victim is Mr Solomon.

His next of kin has been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.

Following the incident a second man, aged 20, was taken to hospital with a stab injury but he was later discharged. He was accompanied by a third man who was not injured.

Police later attended a West London hospital after a 23-year-old man arrived with injuries.

His injuries were confirmed as not life-threatening and he was arrested on suspicion of murder – he remains under a police guard in hospital.

Detective Chief Inspector Vicky Tunstall, said: “My thoughts are with the friends and family of Hani who are still coming to terms with his tragic death and I want to assure them that we are working round the clock to track down those responsible.

“I would still like to hear from any witnesses who were in the area.

“A man has died and his loved ones are devastated – please do not stay silent if you know something.

“Something which may seem insignificant to you could be very significant for the investigation, so please let us know about it.

“I can assure those with information that, if you have concerns around contacting us, I will ensure your confidentiality.”
