Some Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the news that Arsenal will be without Thomas Partey and Kieran Tierney this weekend.

Leeds will take on Arsenal away from home at the Emirates Stadium in North London in the Premier League on Sunday.

The Gunners have announced on their official website that defensive midfielder Partey and left-back Tierney will not be part of the matchday squad.

While Partey sustained a strain to his left hamstring against Aston Villa, left-back Tierney is still recovering from a strain to the right lower leg.

Partey and Tierney are two of the best and most important players in manager Mikel Arteta’s squad.

The absence of the defensive midfielder and the left-back is a boost to Leeds, who are in good form at the moment and will head into the game against the Gunners high on confidence.

Some Leeds fans on Twitter believe that their team can win in North London due to the absence of Partey and Tierney for Arsenal.

Course we have a chance they are below us, the only reason I’m doubting a win is coz it’s in London

Arsenal do look a different team with him playing. And if Alioski keeps up his dolphin impressions in Pepe’s ear, they’ll probably be down to 10 men again anyway!
